Ambetter Silver and Gold Plans

Ambetter from Superior HealthPlan offers Silver and Gold plans. Each metal level provides a balance of monthly premium payment and out-of-pocket expenses, as well as access to Ambetter Health's in-network providers.

Ambetter Value Plans

Ambetter from Superior HealthPlan’s Value Plans are our lowest priced premium plans that have specific health care providers and hospitals in our network. Members on our Value Plans will select their Primary Care Provider using our Ambetter Guide. These plans require a referral to see specialists. Ambetter Value Plans are available in select counties in Texas and are in Silver and Gold plan metal levels.

Ambetter Value plan options are offered in the following areas:

  • Bexar
  • Collin
  • Dallas
  • Denton
  • Fort Bend
  • Harris
  • Montgomery
  • Rockwall
  • Tarrant

Ambetter Virtual Access Plans

Our Ambetter Virtual Access plans provide you with a full virtual primary care experience. Ambetter Virtual Access members are assigned a Teladoc Primary Care Physician (PCP) and enjoy unlimited $0* visits with that PCP. The Teladoc PCP can order labs, imaging, write prescriptions, and make referrals for on-the-ground care as needed.

To see a specialist, members will simply request a referral from their Virtual Access PCP.

*$0 cost share applies for in-network telehealth services through Ambetter Telehealth. $0 Ambetter Telehealth cost share does not apply to HSA plans until the deductible is met. Ambetter does not provide medical care.

We also offer a state-mandated plan that includes all required benefits. If you are interested in learning more about this plan, please call Member Services at 1-877-687-1196 (Relay Texas/TTY: 1-800-735-2989) 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. CST, Monday through Friday or email SHPMSCONTACTUS@CENTENE.com.
