National Imaging Associates - Prior Authorization Requests Online, Phone or Fax for Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy Services

Effective December 1, 2021, Superior HealthPlan delegated utilization review for physical, occupational and speech therapy (PT, OT, ST) services that require prior authorization to National Imaging Associates (NIA) for the Superior’s Medicaid STAR, STAR+PLUS non HCBS Waiver and CHIP Programs (see notice).  Effective January 1, 2021, Ambetter from Superior HealthPlan delegated utilization review for these services to NIA for the Health Insurance Marketplace Program (see notice).   

NIA accepts prior authorization requests for PT, OT and ST services online, telephonically or by fax submission.  

NIA’s secure provider portal can be accessed at www.RadMD.com.  The secure RadMD portal offers benefits to providers, including ease of use, real time response, and easy access to the status of the authorization process.
