Support for Ambetter from Superior HealthPlan Members Impacted by Hurricane Beryl

Ambetter Health members located in the counties of Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Jackson, Jasper, Jefferson, Liberty, Matagorda, Montgomery, Nacogdoches, Orange, Polk, San Jacinto, Walker, and Wharton which were affected by Hurricane Beryl, please know there are services available to help you.

Call Member Services 1-877-687-1196 (Relay Texas/TTY 1-800-735-2989) 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time, Monday through Friday, if you need to:

  • Get an emergency prescription refill.
  • Replace necessary medical equipment, services, or supplies.
  • Get a new copy of your Ambetter Health Member ID card.
  • Speak with a registered nurse, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Find a doctor in your area.
  • Get help dealing with stress or depression.

All Ambetter Health members who live within the official disaster designated counties and who may need to replace necessary medical equipment, services, or supplies should seek replacement through any available supplier. If you cannot find a supplier, call Member Services to find one for you. Your supplies will be replaced even if you are temporarily outside of the county in which you live.

  • Disaster assistance may be available to Texans who have disaster related needs due to Hurricane Beryl under FEMA’s Individuals and Households Program. Apply for help online at DisasterAssistance.gov or by calling the FEMA Helpline at 1-800-621-3362 (6 a.m. to 10 p.m. CDT, 7 days a week)
  • Disaster relief services are available through the American Red Cross at 1-800-RED CROSS (733-2767)
  • Crisis counseling services are available for people affected by severe weather, 24 hours a day through SAMHSA’s National Disaster Distress Helpline Line at 1-800-985-5990
